These all came in the mail today. Even with today's dip in silver prices I got them for like $6 under melt.

I don't particularly like that eagle, but there is a reason why the bird looks this way. Both the eagle and the lion with the stars were taken from Emperor Otto IV's cloak; Otto was Heinrich's son. See the images here or download the cloak so to say. Not using a portrait makes some sense, and the lion (reference to H.) can also be found on Heinrich's bracteates ... Christian
Thans Christian! You always have the good info I also am not a huge fan of that particular eagle....but I decided that I'm in this commemorative mark collection too deep to quit now So far I've only been buying the silver coins. I can't decide if I want to get the cupro-nickel ones as well.
A couple GREAT finds in an ebay lot I won recently. Up for sale was a small pile of Netherlands/Antilles/Aruba etc. weighing over 3 pounds. I won the lot at $20 plus about $5 shipping. The seller likely didn't know of any silver or low mintage coins. Also included were a couple dozen old coppers from Netherlands Indies. Coin #1 1964 - Netherlands Antilles 1 Gulden - About Uncirculated - 72% Silver Only 300,000 Mintage There was recently a sold 1964 Gulden at $12.53 with $4 shipping. Coin #2 1978 - Netherlands Antilles 2 1/2 Gulden - About Uncirculated - Nickel Only 100,000 Mintage There are not many sold examples here, not sure where to price it at. Both coins have luster and are obvious keepers. I put them in coin flips. These finds likely make up almost my whole purchase. Can someone say lucky for a cheap lot?
This fun lot came from Canada today. A fun little George V set from Great Britain. Of course, I paid under melt for the whole set
