I was perusing a large outdoor Flea Market today and saw a guy selling an old cookie tin loaded with Liberty Nickels. Some in rough shape, some just Ok. He wanted a dollar a piece, I was going to count them up and make an offer. So if there are around 60-75 coins, I feel maybe a 50.00 offer should get me the coins.
    What say you??

That sounds fair. I've seen a similar amount at this antique market. It was there for several events and probably cherry picked for all the better ones. It wasn't there last time I checked so someone probably bought them all as you intend to do. I wouldn't buy them all though, since the rough shape ones are tough sells. I'd just take 10 of the ones you really like

A buck apiece is probably a decent deal if they're full G-4's. I'd skip the ones that are in rough shape.

I'd say $2 apeice would be more in tune so at $1 its a steal unless all no cent culls

I will try to cherry pick what I feel are the nicest. 10 sounds right.
    Thanks all

Just for reference only, when my auctioneer boss has groups of common, lower-grade Liberty Nickels, they usually go between 35 and 75 cents each.
