    Hi all,
I wanted to share my latest error coin acquisition
This is a 5% Off Center with a Details Grade for a minor scratch on the Obverse..
    I love it!

    Very Cool!

1978 had quite a few of these for whatever reasons.

However, the original sealed mint bag I purchased didn't have any much to my disappointment.

PS - Too bad about the scratching but I'll bet it worked in your favor for the price!

I was fortunate enough to pick up another 10% off center 1978 Ike. Again, in a detail slab, because of a scratch on the obverse. The scratch is visible from the top of the "U" to the craters, just under the star.

As mentioned, there seem to be a number of these on that auction site, at varying prices. Of course, the more off center the higher the price. This was the best I could afford, from the Denver Auction. The scratch didn't seem to bother anyone too much. I would hazard a guess that they are almost all showing some damage besides the off center. Anyway, my second error coin, albeit much pricier than the first. It still looks great to me....
