I did too, but it looks like it. I'm not that familiar with them, so that's why I'm asking the more knowledgeable.
They had trouble last year with die preparation and it looks like they still continue to have the same issue . That what I heard from the big wig at the local coin show after seeing 40 dollars of them .
So, I guess I didn't understand the answer. Is the die preparation such that it's not smooth and causing the look of a satin finish? Do you know if this was from the master die or poor quality of the working dies? Thanks again!
I have the 2016 D Dime that is also frosty on background and mirror finish on stamped face and lettering. Perfect looking coin. Perfect edges and everything. First one I have seen like this.
