image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg wow! Anyone ever seen this before? I can't find this particular example of an extra pillar error anywhere.

That is unbelievably impressive . I was actually looking for evidence that the coin may have been double struck but that I don't see it from your photos.
I haven't looked at any of the listings for it , though one of this apparent strength I would have heard of. I would send this one to Mr. Wexler for attribution .

Beat to hell but if the Stoner says send it to john then you should do it. I've gotta ask though Sheila, where are you finding these? Can't be from pocket change; are you roll hunting?

I can't see it in your "entire reverse" picture (#2). Can you circle it in the larger picture?

Nice find! And you even gave him a bath before you took his picture. I'd be curious as to how you're finding all these guys as well.

Yes. Some have come from pocket change, but most have come from roll searching.

I couldn't get it to show in the entire reverse picture because of the color of the cent. I will try something else and post on here.

Yeah. I used dawn dish detergent to get the crud off. You could barely see it before.

I don't have equipment to do arrows and circles. I use my iPhone.

This is the best I can get. You can see a blur of it on your right in between the first and second pillars.

That is the only thing that I can see. Is the extra killer. There is no other signs of being double struck that I can tell either.

Sheila, fyi, your iPhone should have a photo editing feature that will allow you to crop, rotate, draw, put arrows etc

I have crop and rotate but I don't see where I can use Arrows and stuff. I may not have that app. And I don't know what app to get. I am not good with this technology stuff

Have you tried poking it with a toothpick?

It is not a bubble. It is solid.

I'm sure impressed. Can't wait to hear what the experts say about this.

Me too. I have never seen this anywhere before. I can't see anything on the coin that indicates double striking. I have searched online and all I can find is the 1994 doubled die one. But it is nothing like this.
