That is nice. Really nice. Looks like you need a new tip on one of the shafts as well. One of the two cues I wish I didn't let get away was a Joss West and a Southwest. Actually after I made my previous post I Googled his name and found his obituary. It was from a month ago. He was living in Daytona though (where I live).

easiest way to turn the coin:

hold bottom edge the opposite corner from the way you want it to turn, and tap it on a table. Just continue tapping and it will move

I usually play with the same shaft until it is ready to have the tip replaced. That way, I have a good shaft to use while the other is having the tip replaced.

Bill Stroud (Joss West) retired about 10 years ago, and it was a shame that Jerry Franklin (Southwest) died at such a young age. I wasn't able to locate Harry's obit. Can you send me a PM with a link to it?

I did some drywall works for Judds custom cues about 20 years ago.
I was hoping that he would trade even for a imperfect cue. He said that if they are not perfect he burns them.
I believe at the time he was a top 10 cue maker.

Three on the left are Harry's, Barringer, three on right are Camson. 100_3909.JPG
