EURO Found in Loomis roll

It was the last roll in the box. I have found plenty of Canadian quarters dimes and cents even a couple of Jamaican quarters and if you Bahama quarters and occasionally a Panama quarter, but this is the first euro, I usually have to go to the airport for foreign exchange money booth to get my euro the first one in a Loomis roll

Thank you sir that totally went by me. Out of that box of Loomis rolls of course we have good old Canadian but one that I forgot was this Panama I occasionally find to.Do we still make their coins ? \V/

 

Found this in a roll. this one take me back in time I was there in Subic Bay late 75.

 

I've found euros in rolls as well.

 

The US mint has not produced foreign coins since 1973 (or 1984 -- read the article), except for the 2000 Leif Erikson commemorative, for which the US mint produced both the American and Icelandic versions.

I believe I read that the Franklin mint and the British mint were producing some of their coins to.

My fines or my finds? Not sure how I would post my fines.... I really haven't gotten too many of those in my life.

 

Well if you ever figure out how to post any of the coins that you have found in rolls, I'm always interested in what other members have found. Nice to know what you can possibly find out there in circulation.\V/

 

Just go ahead and post your finds and your fines. We can then decide what exhibits we find more interesting and worthy of being inspected in more detail.

That's a generous offer, but one of these days when I have a little bit extra money I will go to one of my favorite fishing holes. I generally don't go to this one too much because it's extremely hard to get to at times the foreign exchange at your local airport if my intent was to cash this in. This is an excellent fishing hole for those members who are into foreign coins. And it's understandable a lot of airports do not have money exchange at their local airport I am fortunate to live in South Florida which both Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports have money exchange. But I have a nice little collection of foreign coins but have not been in To collecting them for a long time but the ones I do acquire they now have a home in my collection. Appreciate that but then that would take all the fun out of seeing what the tourist have exchanged at the money exchange. And at the money exchange there is no shipping and handling charges.PS keep this fishing hole a secret.

Touche. Your secret is safe with me. All kidding aside, BTW, foreign coins are cool finds in rolls, they turn me on every time I find them, too.
