    LordM Giveaway #87 (Happy Naw-Rúz!)

    Winner's notice of receipt

    Trivia: today, March 21st, is Naw-Rúz, the Baháʼí New Year. (Naw-whuh?, you ask? Never mind. LOL.)

    In celebration, we'll do something a little different. You can't enter this contest on your own behalf. You have to pick someone else to win the prize. Simply say who you would like to receive it.

    I will leave the contest open for entries until the end of this (Gregorian) month, with the drawing to be held on or after April 1st, 2023, depending on my schedule. Should I be away from the forums, you may consider the contest open for entries until such time as I return and do the drawing.

    The prize will be this nice 1923 Peace dollar, in hopes of peace in the new year.

    As usual, the contest is totally free, with no strings attached, and free worldwide shipping. I would like to eventually hear back that the winner has received their prize, though.

    Not a contest entry ...but a big Thank You to one of CT's most generous members!
    You see Lord M and I were texting ...the other night ...and the subjects bounced all over the place...but started with Civil War medal featuring the Monitor....
    Next thing I knew.... thought my fat texting word butchering fingers...."like how I work that tid bit in Rob lol" :)

    Enjoy that book. I thought it was a crackin’ good read, personally.

    (For those wondering, it’s a true story about a mysterious sunken German U-boat they found off the New Jersey coast, which wasn’t supposed to be there.)

    You know Im going to love this...book as there were u boats off the mid Atlantic as well the Chesapeake bay . My father talked about sub nets off the USNA...durring the war.
    Any members ever been to the Delaware beaches will notice gun inplacements on the dunes. And in Cape May a huge bunker that housed a big gun capable of hitting and ship in the main channel.
    Trying to sneak up the Delaware bay.....

    North shore of the Severn river theres the USNRDC and Navel housing...on base there was a captured U boat that the mids trained on....along with the YP fleet ...navy training vessels.
