1974 D cent with an S near the VDB?

I don't even see any of the VDB. I do see that upside down "5" with a clear flat line which rules out an "S". But that doesn't help." Do you have a clear photo that shows the VDB?

 

I will try to get one.

Thanks for your prompt response. After looking at this VDB I see no relation to that "5" that appears on the earlier photos. Wish I could offer a suggestion, but this is too early for a cocktail in Seattle.
