I'd say that is actually a touch risky on the sellers part. We all assume it'll be bullion pricing, but 276 from a seller before the price is released is playing with fire a bit

They released the pricing grid and at this level the price will be $205 for the gold dime, $460 for the gold SLQ and $865 for the WLH.

If only the mint had a numismatic advisor, rather than a bunch of bureaucrats, they'd know what collectors look for in these issues.

 

I was long a stamp collector too. Decades ago, major post offices had philatelic windows, theoretically supposed to offer collectors the special services and items they desired. In fact, they were operated by whatever postal worker had enough points to bid for and "win" what was considered a cushy position. Typically, the winners weren't stamp collectors, had no knowledge about stamp collecting, and considered actual collectors to be picky and annoying, interacting with them accordingly.
Eventually, the windows were all closed.

 

My order for 10 was shipped Friday and will be here Tuesday, I think the mint did a great job with this release.

 

COIN TV had graded ones for sale earlier today....IN HAND.

 

Ebay sold listing today are all over $450 for pcgs 70 slabs, pcgs has both MS70's and SP70's???

 

The mint released the numbers and the 2016 Mercury dime sold 122,510

In hindsight, it seems obvious 125k was too low a mintage limit.

Why not 250k? Or 500k?

Point is, it seems the Marketing wizards at the U.S. Mint are not-so-good at prognosticating.

Another example: The 350k (!!!) mintage limit for this year's Mark Twain commemoratives seems a bit optimistic. (Only 75k total sales after 3 months.)

 

Don't worry, they'll be adding more

 

The Mark Twain commem is nice but I'm surprised its sold 75k. At the price level it doesn't seem like a must have. We'll likely learn more from that information than the mint.
