I already pre-sold my box of 10, so will buy max. I do not think it will be a quick sellout. My guess is.... people will see it is a slow sell-out, not flipping well, and start returning some. Hopefully my flip holds. If it does, I will probably buy a MS70 a little later on.

Mercury dime gold at $ 205.00
    My guess are:
    Flying quarter gold at 500.00
Walking Liberty half dollar at 950.00

Actually, if gold price holds, per the chart:
    SLQ will be $460
    WLH will be $865

Pulling the plug over $25 eh? Melt is $125 right now. The packaging isn't free, the place that made the planchets has to be paid, the people who minted them aren't doing it for free, the dies cost money to make, and they want to make a profit.
It isn't ideal but if gold was currently $500 an oz they'd probably have made a million of them. They'd be $82 a piece. A guy could wait for that day to come again, but I'd wager you'd just never buy any gold because it's only going up.

Small fractional gold always has the highest premiums. Percentage wise it's always higher than even 1/4 oz. Comes with the territory. Mine will never be for sale at melt price I can guarantee you that.

I'll probably buy one...but I wish they had more accurate details (FSB, etc).

This was my best chance to convince my wife to let me buy gold... then $205. No chance now.

What price were people expecting? There is no way they would be cheaper than the normal 1/10 ounce american eagle coins. Yes, I was hoping for a LITTLE cheaper, but is $20-$25 really a deal breaker?

I expected $175. Yes, $20 is a deal breaker. Not all of us can afford $200+ a coin.

Gold at $2,050 oz. Remind me to quit making fun of Mike Mezak on HSN.

This is gonna get the crap sandwich award of us mint offerings for 2016. Once again they screw the pooch on something that could've been special. And I'm not talking price. Who cares about an extra $20. It's the 125k w/ 10 hh limit thats killing this. They know they are making it for collectors yet are killing any chance of it being a collectible and simply don't care. This, I cannot stand
