Las Vegas Teddy has one the best sets of eyes in the hobby! Just tremendous eye appeal on this one. Thank you Teddy for hunting this monster down ... and the oh-so-generous gift! PCGS graded this PR67RD. I personally think this probably should have graded RB instead of RD, as there is quite a bit of toning on this one. However the good news is because it's classified as a RD and not a RB, it actually shows up in "PCGS CoinFacts"!! http://www.pcgscoinfacts.com/Coin/Detail/3395 If this had graded RB, it would have been excluded (banned) from CoinFacts since CoinFacts has chosen to exclude all BN and RB Proof Lincolns minted between the years 1952 and 2012. It's interesting but when I asked the PCGS brass (executives) about the possibility of including BN and RB Proof Lincolns in CoinFacts for that 60 year period between 1952 and 2012, I was told that "there is no market and no interest for BN and RB Proof Lincolns" ... but only for that 60 year period I am guessing. Somehow there is a market for them before 1952 and after 2013 (for some reason) since CoinFacts will show BN and RB Proof Lincolns dated before 1952 and after 2013. In any case, 1961 is THE DEFINITIVE YEAR for eye appeal on colorfully toned Proof Lincolns. For some reason 1961 has more of it's share of monsters.
Gorgeous "RD" cent. Teddy not only has the great ability for finding these eye appealing monsters, but is also one of the most generous collectors in the hobby. He is a true practitioner of the "Pay it Forward" philosophy.
Always loved the obverse design, so finally got one. Cape Verde Islands. Portuguese Colony. 20 Centavos 1930

Okay here is very hard to find key piece to Canadian Nickel set I'm building. I've now completed all of the regular dates 1922-1989 and varieties that you will find in guides not completely focused on Canadian coins and I'll eventually get to the proofs and Proof likes. I still have a lot of stuff too add from 1990-forward. 1947 Dot Canada Nickel
Last but no least a 1915 Austria Gold Dukat. All my coins I posted today were bought at the Dalton Coin show.
Not yet, but I'm thinking I will by next year. I can get one in good condition for $400, I want that one slabbed. These are what I have left to get, 92-s, 94-o, 95-p, 95-o, 96-s. 97-o.
Another high grade/low pop Kennedy for my high grade collection: Dust is on the holder--no spots on the coin.
