Odd LMC Looking for thoughts

    I found this Lincoln cent and sorry, cannot quite make out a date, but can anyone tell me what might have happened here? If I'm in the wrong place to ask please let me know, I'm newpid.

    A greaser, most likely. Might be worth a few bucks but it would be more if it had a date, as with all errors.

    Looks to be what is called a Struck Through Grease.
    Sometimes grease buildup gets onto and into the incused areas of the Die that is striking a blank Planchet which in turn will eliminate those areas from getting formed when striking the planchet to appear
