So I typically toss the Canadian pennies in a jar when I find them just for s&g's but I was at a new LCS and they had the Canadian coin folders. Actually I am kind of excited about it now.

That's how I started too. Now I have an almost complete set of large and small cents :)

    Oh well.
Good luck with filling those. Elizabeth II should be a very easy set (though challenging from circulation in the States).

I'm sorry, but I have to ask.... do you sign "MD coin hunter" in each post to clarify the meaning of your username? :)

I picked up a Canadian cents folder last year that was big enough to include the entire series (1920-2012). Managed to fill more than 80% of the slots from 1955-present, and a couple of older George VI finds as well... getting some of those 20s key dates in US circulation might be tough though.

I find plucking coins out of circulation to complete folders/albums to be strangely addicting and lots of fun.

It's okay; just curious. Personally, I like the username. ;)

I work for a large retailer a couple of days a week and see a good bit of Canadian cents. I have been thinking of getting a book for them. I wish I had kept the ones I've seen over the years! Should be fun.
