Not my area but those that know will need a full photo, preferably obverse and reverse and the date and mintmark.
It is the same penny with machine doubling of the 1992 that I posted earlier. This is also a picture of the Y on the liberty on the same 1992 Penny.
Sheila, its machine doubling. I believe Jason did this several years ago and I have yet to see it explained better. Look for notch's, separation lines or extra thickness. Are you a member of CONECA? I like your enthusiasm. You seem to have a genuine interest in the hobby.
Yes, I do have a major interest. I am not a member. I know it is pretty cheap, but we just don't have the extra money. I am trying to learn all I can online though. I have seen many of the Machine doubling, but there is so many different types. sometimes I cannot tell the difference.
Don't feel bad , either can I or most of the people here , That's why I asked Jim to take a look . He knows his errors and if he doesn't or has doubts on a particular error he'll tell you .
To me the drawing is off. It shows MD as curved or rounded but it actually drops off like a step, more like the hub doubling picture minus the notch. Maybe MD has some curvature in close magnification but I think the drawing has too much emphasis here
