Picked up a random $50 of CWR nickels yesterday for something to do.
    Ended up with:
    1991 Austria 10 Groschen (aluminum)
    3x Canadian 5c (1960, 1962, 1970)
    1971 Mexico 20c
    1943D War
    1950P (boo)

    Still, it was fun :)

I didn't this time but often when I deposit Ikes at my deposit bank they turn up again at my pick up bank. Obviously another CR hunter is doing that. So, before they landed on my doorstep I ordered some more. In other words, by ordering more while I still had the first 6k, I would be sure not to get the same ones again.
Also, I'm pretty sure that the same halves and Ikes get picked up, counted and re-baged at that Gardia or wherever, then I see them again. so this way I was sure I would get fresh supply to look through.

$20 in Fed wrapped quarters (bust)
    $3 in Fed wrapped Pennies

4 wheat cents - a nicer 1955 D (coin still has some luster, it's kinda purple-y) 1944, 1941, and best of all; 1939. 2016 has been lucky so far. I found a 1919 S, 1938, and 1939 all in one month. My chart has changed, for the oldest coins i ever found in circulation.
    1. 1919 S
    2. 1938 P
    3. 1939 P

    two pre-1960 nickels, 1959 D (which i don't think i have, lemme check) and 1946.

I generally don't do much CRH anymore, but every now and again I will entertain it (halfs only.) At the bank today, the teller told me she had 6 rolls of halfs. So I took them. Of course, they were the hated BWR. I haven't gotten anything good out of bank rolled half roll in years.

Since I'm posting here, you can guess I had some success. From all 6 rolls, I scored a Franklin, a 40%, and a 2011 NIFC.

I'd buy a 1987 mint set and bust it for the 87 halves, thus far I have only found one in ~9 years of CRH and the set will only set you back $10 or so. The 70's are more common, but that might be worth buying also (as well as the 76S business strike, and 2014 high reliefs).

$100 in BWR. Few find for the book. Got a 1955 71 68s 52 . Also found a 87 Canadian and close to dateless buffalo but I kind of see a 20. No silver.

I've found 2+ rolls of the 87s, combined. they're out there. The only one I had to buy for my business strike album was the 70D.
My set including proofs is a different story of course.

My First True Coin RoLL Hunt:
250 dollars of halves, Half bank half cwr.
    1st roll CWR I Franklin 1962 wowee

After that I had all blanks except for a 1967 half Kennedy
and a 1989 s Proof Half. Very nice shape. The half is definetly a proof,, I can fell the reeds on the side.

Anything good came from the cwr,, everything else was picked thru I am pretty sure. Some marks on the rolls of cwr.

All in all, I am pretty satisfied, considering the searching I see posted here.

I am going to dump at my home bank,,as they gave me not even a roll of halves....NOW THEY HAVE THEM!!!!!!

Don't feel bad. My bank never has them either. There's a teller who grabs them all for himself.

Careful. Do that too much and you may piss them off and then get nothing from them.

I think it has to do with a "Today Show" investigation... All 5 of the machines they tested shorted the count. One by $50.
