Here's another collar clash caused from a MAD Die, that will be added to Mr. Potter article on collar clashes .

This is one beautiful toned clad quarter too .

It was a cheap pickup at the coin show too ..

 

Wow, that's a massive clash.

 

It's a cool " MAD " too ...

 

Not bad for 5 bucks ....

 

Yeah, seems the misalignment which allowed the collar clash in the first place wasn't corrected before the next actual planchet feeds. Wonder how many of these are out there? I couldn't imagine too many, as such a spectacular collar clash would have surfaced before if they were plentiful.

 

I wouldn't think so either, this is a nice ms coin too .
So I would think they caught it quick .

I could only hope ..
