Sorry I can not describe it better. There are fakes in other series that look legit to me, but it is because I do not collect those series. This one is just pretty obvious to me, but might be good enough to fool a lot of people.

I'ts a "private listing" type of auction. And those are a big red flag for shill bidding by sellers. Ebay should ban those type of auctions
Trying to give the benefit of doubt to the seller. Could it be that the seller is unaware that it is a fake. Probably happens a lot.
I also suggested to EBay that they would want to have a look at the listing. After looking at my $1 gold, I think it is an El Fako. Maybe the seller doesn't know better and got conned himself, but frankly that's not a concern with counterfeits chewing our hobby alive.
That's a nice looking coin, I mean from some other listings. Wonder how much actual gold is on a genuine coin.
