Yup, White Gold. Thought it was going to be stainless (until I realized it didn't stick to the magnet trap) or maybe even sterling silver. But the 14K stamp means white gold. The accent diamonds are real, but worthless, and the gemstone I have no idea. Could be tanzanite or topaz, real or lab created, the only certainty is it isn't alexandrite as that changes color depending on the light source. Real or no, .8 grams of gold for free, I'll take it

    :D

First timer checking the coin star machines. First off, I can't believe they charge 10.9%. Rip off city.
First machine: Walk up and wait for little old lady who is reading the fine print on the screen. She has a smallish bag of coins along with a plastic cup of cents. She decides not to dump. Cost too much. I check the return, 2 Regular Washingtons stuck together with unknown substance.
    Yesss
2nd machine: Quarter, dime a Canadian dime and a few cents. Then after shopping I see a college age kid dumping coins. I check the return again and come out with a couple of cents, a Dime, and another Canadian dime. Not too shabby. Total .98 cents.

Finally got my first silver! A 1956 S dime. I've been checking every time I go shopping for two years. The store is going out of business (this was my last time going) and I felt like it was saying good bye to me haha.

Today was a jackpot at the grocery store coinstar.

I ran some coins through it and threw in a clad dime and zincoln that were in the reject. As my coins were running through I checked under the front of the machine as I usually do and pulled out these:

They just kept coming out to the point that I had to use my phone in it's Otter case to try to sweep out as many as I could.

Ended up with $8.75 face with a good mix of 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s plus the dateless Standing Liberty Typ 1.

Good thing I'm too old for the shame of digging under the machine in front of everyone. ~$90 value is worth any weird looks.

Free silver is the best silver.

Check the standing liberty if it's a 1916. Then you'd be the luckiest man.

I decided I needed to check again today to see if I missed more.

I ran some more coins through the machine then checked again under it but this time brought a ruler to help dig.

    Pulled out another $2.25 face - mix of 40s, 50s & 60s Washingtons.

So two day total is $11.00 face. :)
