Taking images of half dollars and up size coins the USB scope doesn't do justice . Between these two coins if you had them in hand you would choose the 34 D over the 26 hands down. There's nothing wrong with either coin but the luster and strike of the 34 is much better in my opinion .To me the 26 has a weaker strike and it's luster is mute. The 34 has full cart wheel luster and again a better strike. The marks on the 34 are not as bad as they appear to be in hand. That's another draw back using the USB scope as it tends to show marks that the naked eye would not even notice .
