I have a bunch of coins I think are errors yesterday I got just 2 rolls of pennies from circle k and there was a1969 s 1970 s and a 1946 along with a bunch of others from 70s I'm trying to learn all stuff so I appreciate the help should I hang on to pre 82 pennies
LOL - I was so hopeful when I saw the title, those aren't older cents. Now this is an older cent: Nice problem free examples can be found and in low grades are affordable. But that does not mean I do not have save baby copper - now I only keep wheat cents. I finally finished the set my brother, father and I started back in late 60's early 70's. Just one page from the album. Have fun what ever you collect.
To be fair to the OP I took this post from another unrelated thread and gave it a title I felt represented what he was trying to ask as a new collector. Sorry if the title was a little deceiving for those of us that have pieces older than what you can still find in circulation.
You did good - I just like to encourage more to collect the "older" old cents. I guess I could have posted a page from my IHC collection also. I like all copper, just for some reason I really prefer the middle date large cents. Having a little fun.
Thank you, I agree, I like all copper too! I wish I had the time and money to put together a nice IHC collection - and add to the few larger cents I have!
Sorry for hijacking the thread - but I do like copper a lot. Here is some other copper I collect - well they have cent in them - posted this collage a bunch: Canadian large cents - these are fun and in VF to XF most are a just a few dollars: Only two graded IHC's left in my collection - evidently no pictures of IHC album.
