    Just two questions.

What is the name and volume of the book which provides “RIC”-reference number for coins from Constantine the Great until Anastasius? And what year is the newest edition?

Could you provide me a short list over some reputable internet live auctions in the same manner as Pecunem? I only want European auctions and in term of Late Roman plus Byzantine coinage.

    Thanks

Constantine is Vol 7, his kids are Vol 8. I'm guessing you're looking for multiple volumes if you're looking up to Anastasius.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but a good overall view of what's available and when. Lots of European firms with a few North American ones.

There is a search function too.

In 1998 I made an attempt to review RIC and believe what I said then is still appropriate. Beginners will not believe me and those who read over lightly will think I am recommending against the books. I do believe that one should look just a bit before making the leap.
