well up here in Baltimore I guess a lot of us collectors are centrally located. three major cities nearby. Atlantic City is 3 hours away... we are happening. I'd love to come to Long Beach for a coin show.

 

Is it? ... A long beach, I mean. It's on my bucket list. Not this year, though. One California trip per year is sufficient. ANA Anaheim.

 

I can't take one day off work and ride Greyhound to Long Beach.

May be a long day - I think I'm gonna stay in town for the Final Four games. I want to see Villanova-Oklahoma bad.

It would cost me the price of an expensive coin for travel, hotel, food, etc. to get there and stay.

 

Not a long drive for me but visiting my Mom this weekend instead. She's 100 years old and every bit as nice as a '16 SLQ or 16-D Merc!

 

She was minted in a good year for collectors.

 

Didn't see much at the mint's booth, but did notice that they had the 2016 Mercury gold on display...while I didn't exactly hold something up to compare...it did LOOK like the same size...The packaging looked nice and simple too.

 

Making my way down tonight! Making a road trip out of it. Leaving at 4am. cya there

 

I went but I took the long way.
First I went to see the Reading Phillies play the Philadelphia Phillies> What a blow out 19-4 with 11 home runs.
then this morning I drove to Baltimore

 

I have to work all weekend or I'd go again. Working midnight's is not fun

 

Was nice to meet Mike today of ToughCOINS , I hope he enjoys dinner as I gave him a name of a restaurant to try. One of my favorites in Baltimore. .....also stopped by to see Charmy,also do a few other favorite dealers. Was a nice day.....and less I forget I met Doug one of our members here from Pa.

 

Yes! It was great to meet Paddy54 and ToughCOINS! I also got to meet The Penny Lady.

John Anthony and I terrorized several dozen ancient and modern tables today.

Coolest thing I came home with was FREE (courtesy of Paddy!)

 

Shoot........I'd give a ham to meet you both......Pennsy guys a'hangin'.......though I be expatriot PA.

No pics till I get back home. I won a Ken Bressett signed 2017 Red Book at a drawing at the Whitman booth, bought a couple new VietNam NCO club tokens from Paul Cunningham, got some new sample slabs too. All in all a fun day.

 

got back a couple hours ago, found a lot of nice ancients, but my money ran out pretty quick Had a lot of fun with my son, he picked up a meteorite and a fossilized dinosaur tooth.
