Metal Detecting Find - 1943 Cent.. Copper?

    Hi all,
    I wanted to share this nice 1943 Cent in pretty good condition. Found it while metal detecting. But I'm confused.. I thought 1943 Cents were made of steel.
    Oh well, into my jar of Wheat Cents it goes :smug:

    True story,... on April fools day 2013 I scratched a $5 California lotto scratcher and won $5k. I knew it was a real ticket as I bought it the night before but boy did I rush to the nearest store just to make sure lol. Worst part was waiting like 6 weeks for the check

    I thought they were made of steel, too, if that helps. See if it balances on a popsicle stick. I don't know why, but I think I heard that, too.
