Hey all just checking on who's going? I plan on Friday before noon going to stop by Mike ' s table TOUGHCOINS @ table 829. Hope to meet some of you there at the show.
I'll be there Friday starting at opening time (10:00). And one of my stops will be close to table 829. I want to visit Gerry Fortin (table 818). He's got the last "Arrows at Date" coin that I'm missing (1853-O dime; XF or AU). He had them raw on his site but is supposed to have them slabbed for the show. MFD (Angel Dee's) still hasn't been able to locate an acceptable FE nor any of two IHC's. He shoots for coins that are above average for the grade. Finally if I still have money I'll go visit Chris McCawley for an early copper coin for my type set. In my case look for a somewhat overweight old guy. I'll be toting a wheelie briefcase. Name is Dave.
Mike's a great guy. Tell him I send my regards Paddy. Met him in Tampa (January) and you could't 'hang' with a better fellow........
Wish I could attend. Stuck here in much warmer weather........and it's rainin' like the devil tonite.
I'll be arriving about opening time Saturday, and will likely run out of time before I run out of tables.
Yeah I hear ya Jerry I've been burning the candle at both ends here. I have a grand opening next week. And lot of training to do to get the crew ready for it. I got lucky to pull tomorrow off.....but working the weekend through. Plus may have to travel to Dallas in the near future
I'da been there, but emergency stuff has me stuck at work on Friday, and on Saturday my local club, Red Rose CC of Lancaster, PA, is having its own show. I'm on deck for that one all day.
I just got back from the Baltimore Whitman Coin Show. Saw Mike at tough coins and picked up an uncirculated 1912 Barber quarter that I've been wanting. I also picked up an 1847 $5 gold piece as well.
