What makes it so special?

 

the top right outer line looks bigger. just wondering

 

It's Off centered a little bit.

 

does that make it more valuable?

That's called a Indian head penny, in that condition it's worth 3-5 dollars

 

if it looks the same on the reverse then it's slightly offf center but not worth any premium but I'm going to say it's a mis aligned die which is common and worth a cent as well.
