    It has a decent strike and nice luster, but there is no way you can take those photos from directly overhead while holding it in your hand. You may be (unintentionally)hiding some distracting marks or you may not be allowing us the opportunity to see the more positive characteristics of those marks due to the angle of the photo.

    Are my eyes deceiving me or did you just put the cardboard holder into a plastic holder to take the second set of photos? Are you afraid that you will injure the coin?

    Most of the the 79,80-85 have great strike on Morgan's silver dollar and 82S are one of them and from the 1st picture shows real flat and the 2nd shows PL like but a lot of marks on the coin so 61 is my guess

    I'm @ AU55/58... deceptive coin IMO, appears to have a good strike and luster which would make u think it's MS....

    I took the plastic cover off the top and took a picture then flipped the coin and took that cover off and took a picture. Is there a problem with this? @cpm9ball
