Just a guess with that picture, but 63.

VERY nice. Strong strike both obv & rev. - What are those marks on the obv. from right breast to rim and the rev from half stamp to rim ?

Is the obverse scratch on the holder? I'm having a hard time from the pic telling what's marks in the fields and what's uneven toning. I'm guessing 62 but from the pics I really can't tell

Doesn't look like there's any wear. Probably a 63 assuming that scratch on the obverse is just the slab.

Yes that's a scratch on the slab. This was a tough bugger to photograph

With the crack in the slab it makes it hard to see pups.
However what I an see looks to be a Valentine 1 the 2 is a tad bit lower than the other digits , defects near stars 1,2,3,4,5,10&11
Rev. Medium lettering perfect die proof

Au-58 the image is hard to read ,nice strike as well should be from a proof die.

Only the Rev is proof die? The pics don't do this coin justice. I'll try to get better ones at some point

I'd put it in my collection anytime and I have a MS-65 for my type set now , though it does have a huge clash on both sides . I like the strike especially .

I have an 1870 with a nice clash. It resides in my 7070. Lately I've been buying some certified type coins and I just couldn't pass this one up.

Nice pick up UncommonCents. I would judge this coin as an MS63.

Nice coin I couldn't tell much from your original images, to bad it doesn't have an O on that reverse that be a 2500.+ coin. :)

Pretty! My guess was 63 before I scrolled down and saw the slab photos.

Next time you post a GTG, try changing the photo's name. I noticed after I guessed that the photo title included the grade. If you just copy and paste the pictures, it will hide the grade for you.
