Happy Easter CT! I'm preparing a new submission that includes a Fugio, which of course makes the submission a special issues submission. I noticed that the express submission is the same price - has anyone tried submitting a colonial as express? Do they just charge the standard express fee, or do they tack on more?

I think I asked about something similar to this over the phone with them. I believe they'll simply adjust the submission form accordingly once they receive and review the coins / form.

Figured as much. That would be too easy, right?

Yeah, if you mess up the form they'll call and ask to make adjustments. It's not like they'll just send the sub back and charge you for shipping. At least they've never done that to me but they have called me a couple times to split subissions or tell me I messed up the math and it would be slightly more etc...

Oddly enough though they've never called to say my math was wrong by too much and they needed to charge less lol

You might want to give them a call just to confirm...I don't stand up for TPGs all that often, but PCGS' billing department was very kind to me a couple weeks ago.

Sure. They have to charge more when they have to think.

A lot more, because of the amount of labor involved in the job.

Seems that if it's a colonial worth less than $3000, you could get it graded at a show for just $5 more.
