What does everyone think about this Godless 1969 S Cent? Is this just another weak strike with wear and tear or is this a pretty cool find? Thanks again in advance for looking at my roll hunting finds!
Just good old, every day, greaser. Nothing special here on CT, but a "GODLESS CENT" on eBay might get moon money from a bidiot.
Should I put it up on eBay as a "Godless Cent" no reserve auction and post the link here? Hahaha! Thanks again for all your expert knowledge!
If you do, we will tear you a new one. Seriously, that's considered scamming. And yes, I know you're joking.
Absolutely not! I was just messing around--I chuckled after reading rickmp's reply and thought my reply would get a laugh, too!
Y'know, that might be a good way to educate random Ebay buyers. Put a Cent like that up for some ridiculous price, and if someone buys, refund everything but the cost of shipping and send the coin for free. "Dear buyer: The amount I refunded is the amount you overpaid for this very common minting anomaly. Please keep this transaction in mind when you shop for error coins without knowledge of what constitutes a value-added error, in the future."
Would someone mind helping me on clarifying if this 1969-S is doubled?? 46 minutes agoEditReport + QuoteReply
