1987 D- DDO error?

    Here's coin number two: 1987 D date and MM DDO errors. On the date, the 9, 8, n 7 show some sort of doubling to the right of each number. The MM shows doubling to the right and bottom, in the southeast direction. Is this true DDO damage?

    To me it looks like die deterioration issue. This happens on the right side of the date and left sides of LIBERTY and on the tops of the motto.
