Would you say light spread? on the initials. I see a lot of the EPU style doubling.Is that raised on the east side of the shield?

If its a double die, good marker.

that sure looks like PMD scratches to me.

 

You can't see those scratches on a 10x .
Only with the microscope Frank ..

I do see the diagonal line between the P & L that might be a line crack, but the series of super enlargements are just confusing. Looking at a full side of the coin was a relief. With such enlargements you can see all sorts of bogey men.

 

I usually reduce them in size, so their easy on the eyes .
The site enlarges them bigger then what they were taken at ...

I matched them to one of Wexler DDR and it's a 2012 .

You guys with these microscope lenses crack me up. I'm curious, what made you zero-in on this coin? It's just that these things you guys are finding are so hidden from the naked eye, one wonders what drew you in.

 

Most DDO(s) & DDR(s) have markers and thats, that ....
All doubling can be seen with a 10x ....

If you ever want to look for Variety, ( Ike Dollars ) a scope is necessary and there noway around it ....
