    65. The hit behind her butt keeps it from 66, but the rest of the coin is nice.

    MS65, I guess. Your lighting/exposure is a little cockeyed...

I would say 65, there isn't a lot of chatter in the fields which is good, but there are a couple hits and some weird black stuff by the eagles head and upper wings.

BtW, this is pretty close to the color....
I wish I could say it has booming luster, but it's definitely muted by the weird toning, on the reverse there are a few small black spots, that, I cannot explain
It almost looks like a very subtle AT job...

No, it isn't AT. There isn't any T for it to be A.

This is called "patina" or "skin." It is what the coin should look like.

Well excuuuueeeeuuuuse me, I've heard coins like this referenced as Dip residue, pvc residue, haze, etc etc...
Note that I said ALMOST AT as well;)

I am guessing that it is MS 66. And It looks awesome in hand.

I agree with @physics-fan3.14. This looks pretty much like I'd expect an almost 75 year old silver coin to look if it was reasonably well protected from sulfur for most of its lifetime.

    Grade is.....
Me and the dealer who sent it in, thought it was gem, NGC thought otherwise.... IMAG0992_1.jpg

Ouch, the hit looks even worse in this pic.... :(

It is a nice coin otherwise.
