    I couldn't find the 83' but found this one. Cant tell if it is a lamination or missing the copper" 11D linc obv miss copper.jpg obv. 11D linc rev miss copper.jpg and rev.

    I agree it is a plating error, but it looks to me like the plating has fallen off. Not sure if that would be called a lamination or not.

    Not a lamination error, not possible with a plated coin. It's simply a plating error. In my experience, these are not desirable unless all the plating is missing.

    Now that you mention it, not much. The only thing I see is the luster does not pop like most 68's I have seen, but I would have thought the lack of other problems would have made up for that.
