I will post pics soon. It's in not the best condition. Just bought it from "K2coins" here on CT on the back of the coin holder it says "PCGS 20" Is that a grade? Sorry that I don't have pics yet, I still have to get all of my camera stuff ready for that,
    *UPDATE* I have the pics!

Probably easier to ask Kyle, but it should say it on the top of the obverse. It would say something like VF-20.

On the front it says G details, corroded. Not really graded.

The coin displays remaining detail well above the noted (and certainly netted) "grade" written on the (obv) flip, but as is also noted, is heavily corroded. With such coins it is difficult to determine a "value" as all depends on the severity of the damage, appearance, and most importantly, what someome will pay. Unfortunately, and even though the coin still posses much history, a great number of people would have no interest beyond scrap. This isn't to say that others who buy such coins would not pay more, but is something you should be aware of if buying coins you're not familiar with. That said, I have little doubt that there are many who would pay at least a couple bucks for it as a collectible, and perhaps more if sold to a novelty-type buyer. If you like and will enjoy owning it, at this point that is all that should matter though.

    "PCGS 20"

I was referring to what PCGS lists an 1850 half dime for in Good condition, which is $20. The grade I gave it was Good DETAILS due to the corrosion which I wrote on the front of the holder. Hope that helps!

And yes, I net graded it due to the corrosion. There is A LOT of remaining detail on the coin when looking at the "LIBERTY" on the sheild, the horizontal lines on the sheild, and her face. If it wasn't corroded, it would have most likely been a VG10 or F12 coin.

All I see is written on the flip - Good details, corrosion! I don't see a PCGS holder.
