Can't be a proof, the 1893 CC is the only one that was also minted with proof dies,I'm going with 66 DMPL what a beauty.

65, probably PL. From that angle, it is almost impossible to tell if it is PL for sure, but to my experienced Morgan eye, it sure looks PL. incredible cameo contrast, great luster, pretty clean devices and fields make it a beautiful CC Morgan. Could conceivably grade as high as 66. I love the coin! My call on the coin is 65 PL, but could be 66PL.

66PL - just compare this to your average 65 and it is clearly better. The photo IMHO limits the guess as to PL vs. DMPL.
Cheek clean, nice fields, eagle sharp in all ways. You go Boy (Girl?).

I can see it grading at MS66PL. No cuts in it, just some smudging.

The photo angle minimizes the impact upon surface preservation. That is why I am hedging on a higher grade. For example, none of the usual prooflike striations from die polish are visible. That would be highly unusual.

Guess the Grade? I've gotta say Post Graduate, a Ph D in my book.
