I know its attributed as a roman Republican victorinus minted duringthe 2nd Punic war, but I think that it might be fake, but I'm not sure. 3.2 grams

Out of curiosity, what makes YOU think it's fake?

The color, and how the design on the obverse just looks soft.

It looks worn to me, but otherwise I can see no problem looking at the image.

When posting requests for fake opinions, at a minimum, please also post the weight of the coin.

You're pictures are blurry as well and it would be helpful to have them in focus. If you think it's cast, pictures of the edges might be helpful too.

Try to get better pictures. Lots of sharp Republican collectors here that can help. Carthago beat me too it...

It looks very worn, harshly cleaned and has surface issues common to victoriati because they were minted with debased silver, but it looks completely authentic to me.

Thanks for the weight, which is normal. I see no reasons to doubt the coin.

Thanks, I didn't know that the Romans debased silver coins during the pre-social war republic.

No, it is not fake. That specific issue has very interesting features and characteristics which all examples all show. I can see why it might seem odd when comparing to other issues of its type and period.
