Congrats CT! I stopped doing nickels after doing about $50k and still not finding a 39D or 50D. Those are the only two I'm missing from my circulated set. I have them in the set that was passed down to me by my Grandpa. I'd still love to find them in circulation though.

1 Box of Dimes - Skunk
    1 Box of Pennies - 1907, 1925, 1927, 1935, (19x) '40s, and (26x) '50s

Returned them to two different TD banks. 1st Bank had some silver, a dime and quarter in the return shoot. And some foreign coins stuck to the magnet. 2ndbank had at least one silver half dollar in the coin bag, but they wouldn't swap it out or sell the bag. I tend to get more silver on the return trip then when actually searching.

Four boxes of halves. One 40% and one 1957-D Mr. Franklin facing to my right.
I should find another way to dirty my hands.

I feel your pain. I recently went through 10 boxes of halves and pulled one Franklin and that was it. Still searching though.

I'll probably keep plugging along, however I am moving to a town with ONE bank. My search options may be changing. Probably three more weeks of Loomis boxes.

One bank would make things tough for me. I have to use 6 or 7 banks just to get all my hustling in.

I almost felt like giving up too. I'm now missing only the 1939-D and the sad thing is I used to have one but someone broke into my house and stole my collection. The cool thing is I have WAY surpassed my old collection now.

    I will race you to a '39-D...

Haha I'd love to race. Unfortunately I will only be in the country for another 3ish months before I'm away from a year. You will get a year head start on me :)

Not a big score compared to some but it's my biggest one yet. 7 40% Kennedys. 7 40%.jpg

    I do still need a 39D... but I don't do nickels often.

Okay, so you're in. I think it will bring good luck! I haven't been doing nickels very often lately, either. But this will get me to do a few extra boxes. Let's have the great nickel hunt and see what we find! A '39-D will be the trophy.

I picked up my weekly 4 boxes of halves and $50 of cents today.

4 boxes of halves were skunk. First time in weeks. I guess it was about time.

Loomis forgot my 2 boxes of cents but the bank had $50 in CWR. I happily took them. There are zero sheilds in them :) I didn't notice a lot of wheats when pouring them into a box for searching but they are all Memorials at least. Should be a fun search.

Yesterday the carwash change machine coughed up a 1969-d type h quarter. Second one I've found. Now to find the 70, 71, and 72 type h. They look like type b quarters, except for the center lines in the tail feathers.

    I'm still looking for a 1938-S and a 1939-S. :)

    Found my 39-D last year.

    Congrats on the 69D RDV-008!

My 69D- RDV-008 is on it's way back from ANACS, graded out to a MS-64.:)

I'll post pics when coin is in hand.

In MS-64, you may have a top pop coin! My first one graded xf-40, but I believe it may be a little lower, maybe vf-30. The one I just found may be a solid xf-40. Much cleaner than the first find.

One collector that I know of has an attributed ANACS 1969 D- RDV 008 graded
    MS65.
    .
    I think there is also a ICG graded MS 64 but it's listed with a Breen # 4427, not as a RDV-008.

Don't know if there are any higher than these that have actually been attributed.

I'd also love to find the other 3- What a great collection that would be!
