Here's a really great note depicting printing presses on both the face and the reverse. Enjoy. Oh, I've added a short history link about platen printing presses. == Bulgaria 50 Leva 1992 Pic 101a == == History link: https://letterpresscommons.com/platen-press-history/ ==
Been through a lot the past few years, finally able to start collecting again. Picked up these beauties last week!
Went to the bank and got some new $100.00 All were the series 2009 from Fort Worth BEP Serial # JF 14986144C . I was wondering when this series would be released. Have any other out there found any?
Good to have you back. As the originator of this thread, your absence was noticed. I'm sure you have a lot to catch up on.
Have to begin this post with a smile. Latest acquisition is my first "double radar" note and thus the smile. == == ==
Update about the Bank of Montreal $10 I posted. Seems like the bank building on the reverse became the Hockey Hall of Fame. It's really rewarding to learn more about one's banknotes and some of the history. I've included a larger picture of the building and a link to the Hall of Fame history. == http://www.hhof.com/htmlGeneralInfo/gi20300.shtml == ==
A real surprise pickup from recent Lyn Knight World Currency auction. Didn't even know it was there until it appeared on my screen. The number 07570 just jumped at me and I couldn't grab my mouse fast enough to bid. Whew! It now has a new home. == ==
Nice acquisition from Heritage last night. Didn't have the type so I did a ridiculously low bid; one never knows. Besides it is a star note. == ==
These were acquired "unattended" from the Lyn Knight CPMX auction tonight. Unattended because I entered some proxy bids and then left to go to a special Easter event. What a surprise when I returned. == really nice CU Star note == a nice $50 LGS (at an awesome price) == a really awesome RADAR note
Endeavor, did you also check out the $2 Star? that was also a surprise. In fact, as I said, all three were surprises. One never knows.
bought these two notes at remote auction last night. Will pick them up 3/29/16. Do you think they are worth the $120.00 that I paid for them?
