Faking CAC stickers now too?

Looked the coin up in the the PCGS guide, number matches, found a recent sale back in 2014(LINK), looked up the coin on the cac website, no match.

Comparing the auction link with the picture below it looks like the real coin, all the dark spots match up... but the fonts looks different....

I'm guessing he doesn't actually have the coin. No back pics. I sent an email asking for additional pictures.

I'm guessing everything this seller is selling is fake as he has a 1796 nicely toned quarter, then has a beautiful 1804 dime with the same toning....

Also has some rare stamps, I don't know anything about stamps but the one is upside down and I think I remember that stamp from an eddie murphy movie from the 80s. $_57.JPG

It was not Eddie Murphy, it was Richard Pryor in the movie Brewster's Millions where he mailed, on purpose, an upside down Bi-Plane error Stamp

The stamp is called an "Inverted Jenny" (leave the jokes alone!)

Disgusting. All his coins are fakes. And he's got over 400 fb with good standing :(

That's where I get the funding to keep my coin collection growing. :) I'm a treasure hunter with stamps, jewelry and collectibles.

The coins rarely get sold - if ever, unless I'm looking to build a war chest for a better coin. :)

Last month I sold my second Chinese 1980 Gengshen stamp and parlayed it into a dbl eagle and a high grade Peace Dollar (with a genuine CAC sticker!). Sorry if I brag a bit, it was a huge score!

Report them all. It doesn't take long.

The picture of the seated dollar and bust dimes look quite odd, almost like the pictures were Photoshopped onto 2x2s. There is no mylar glare anywhere on any of the coins, and the group of 10 "dimes" has nice, even light on all coins.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure his 1914-D cent is in a fake slab as well. The label looks completely wrong. I can't find anything wrong with the coin, but who would put a genuine coin like that in a fake slab?

Just look very closely at his photo... notice the clear edge-view tabs are visible on the coin, yet are not there on the slab itself. An interesting attempt at trickery indeed, and one likely to fool many enticed by such seemingly low starting bids, but when said and done is nothing more than a scam.

The CC silver dollar photo is obviously altered (see other items for sale). The coin is the only thing in focus. Not even close.

Alright, I'm going out on a limb here . . . DO NOT buy anything from this seller!

I'm positive that, based on his prior eBay username, it is the same seller who ripped me off for a substantial amount of money (I won't disclose) several years ago.

He will come up with a convincing reason to pay using other than PayPal, disabling eBay Buyer Protection, and then ship you a few worthless trinkets in a package requiring your signature.

I foolishly bought into his ruse, and paid dearly for it.

All of his feedbacks this year are low value sales just to pump up his rating . . . now, he's finally coming in for the kill!

Fair warning, he did the same in my case. I too requested additional photos, and specified that they be taken over a specific background, thinking I'd know he had the coins for sure.

Guess what? He emailed the true owner of the coins at issue, had that person shoot the photo I requested, email it to him, and then he forwarded it to me. I did not find out until later that the coins were being offered by a different seller in a different venue at the same time.

I repeat . . . DO NOT buy from this seller.

    CAC sticker totally looks super-imposed.
