IIRC we've discussed this before, somewhere. Wish I had a functional memory to know when/where it was. These coin forums blur together for me. :)

Joe LaBarbera Collectibles in Mineola NY appears to have bought the rights to NTC in 2013, and has been putting it out in the public eye since. They have a searchable cert database on the website now (from 2013 on), and seem to be exerting effort to present themselves as legit. Tough row for them to hoe, IMO.

Right I need an assistant to keep track of these things lol.

I agree, no ones knocking off the big two at this point. They may be viable though if they can carve out a niche that no one else does and do it really well or just be an alternative to ICG imo. If their plan is to try and go head to head with the big two though I do not like their chances.

Although I do wonder how much progress they've made with Ebay since they have a cert database now.

I know where Greyhound is, it's right next to the Horseshoe Casino. It's not too bad around there. It's patrolled by police quite often and surveillance from the casino pretty much covers that whole area. I'll go on Thursday, the first day it opens. It may be the only day I can go, unless I can get a vacation day. Fat chance though.

Yeah, I haven't made the show in the last couple years and that place has appeared since the last time I was there. I expect it's raised the standard of the neighborhood around it.

My wife and I are attending a show at the Hippodrome Thursday night then staying the night downtown. Definitely will be there Friday and maybe some late Thursday afternoon also.

I'm gonna look kind of funny, running around saying "Hello!" to everyone. :)

In the past we've picked a time and location to sort of meet.
I know I met Penny Man that way.
I believe the time was normally noon and the place, The Penny Lady's table.
    Think about it.

I've never met her - that's a goal for this trip - but my only acquisition agenda for the show will be Brown Lincolns and one stop at her table might suck up the entire budget on the spot. :)

Nothing wrong with that if you get what you want.
    But do your window shopping.
    Plenty of Lincoln sellers.
Stop by and at least browse Angel Dee's table.
    Top-of-the-line Lincolns and IHC's.

    "Top-of-the-line" ain't in my budget. :)

I'm going to be hunting common, yet Gem Brown, pre-1930 Lincs, Woodies and examples for my ongoing research into copper conservation. Chances are the latter will form much of the budget; I need a number of them, preferably very cheap ones. With luck, I'll find someone happy to let me take them off their hands. :)
