I bought one when they 1st came out. Unfirtunately, I didn;t realize that it was going to be a "Series" of 2 ounce silver tokens even though, i'd purchased 2 of the second release.

Well, here's the third in the series. (Latest Purchase)

At $40 a pop these 2 ouncers are almost as expensive as the SAE produced by the US Mint for collectors.

I think the first one looked really nice and the next two aren't as good. I bet they're impressive in hand.

I don't think $40 a pop is bad at all, not that long ago people would have considered double that a fair price. May come back around again, never know.

And I especially like that first one. This thread reminds me that I need to go catch up on the latest episode of Black Sails

Tell me about it. I think they were originally slated for 5 in the series if the first 2 were popular enough. Not sure, with the emense popularity, if they are looking at more than the 5 now though

dang another one and I just spent my budget this month and next months also. I missed the first one not wanting to pay $55+ for it. They are impressive in hand.

These are quite impressive on many fronts. Nice, hefty 2 oz. feel. Well-executed, high relief design. I imagine they'll be pretty cool once they pick up some gold toning at the rims. Early issues are now hard to get.

Didn't you see my above post hours after lee posted this J :p

Yeah, they seemed to release p4 under the radar without much fanfare for some reason. I'm wondering if apatites are begging to wane on this series? I have rolls of p2 & p3 but there's too much I want coming out in the next couple months and didn't plan for p4. I plumb forgot about it actually :(

Rolls of them? Nice! How much did you pay per coin? I have been buying them off ebay and probably overpaying. I don't really see any decent priced p4 ones yet. And no, I missed your earlier post :)

Whatever they were on presale at the time. Around $36-38 per. They seem to sell in the $45-50 range on ebay. Missed p1 so I bought a few for $40 from Mike kittle last September
