Wow, giorgio11 => those are fantastic toned examples!! (man, that's a yummy silver dollar => gawd, the 1967 set was gorgeous, eh?) ... congrats on those two total winners
Hey, you dudes are posting all of those sweet 1967 coins, but I don't recall seeing too many bunny-coins? (I may be wrong? ... I only searched-back through a half-dozen pages of this great thread) ... anyway ... ummm, I may have posted this sweetie before, but it's worth seeing again => a 1967 Five cent piece on a foreign planchet => always a winner!!
Had coin club last Wednesday Night, picked up this Sovereign for a few dollars over melt, a old dealer friend has been selling all his coins off, i've always wanted a Sovereign and this happens to be Canadian. The ones on Ebay are going for a lot more than melt plus. I tried several time to get a good picture and still better in hand and you don't see the chatter with your eyes. Give me your opinion on the grade...
Wow Eng, that's a sweet golden addition!! (congrats) => man, I love those Dragon-Slayer coins!! My only example of that cool type is this humble coin ... Man, it seems quite funny that my example above shows a "half-penny" => sadly, we eliminated the full penny altogether a couple of years ago ... but we did add a $1 and a $2 dollar coin (same poop, different pile, eh?) => this sweetie was $15 Canadian (delivered) ... total score!!
I picked up a 1943 50 Cent piece the other day at my local coin club and it looks to be a Wide Date / Far 3 with a 3/3. Here are some pics. The coin is pretty worn and gunked up, but I think I can pick out the remnants of a 3/3 on the back upper loop of the 3? Can anyone confirm? Thanks.
After Steve posted that beautiful dragon slayer, i had to get one. i found that there was half penny and a penny. the penny is 33mm and the half penny is 27mm which are very large coins, i picked up both, here is the penny with the half on its way.
Very nice, Eng ... congrats on scoring a couple of sweet ol' Canadian winners!! Yah, I'm a total fan of the dragon slayer and the cool crossed cornucopia (kinda like our sweet ol' ancient designs, eh?)

S-Yoda, I'm lovin' your toned Canadian quarter theme ... Hey, here are a few of my sweet ol' 25-cent-examples ... .... sorry about my poor photo-skills (they look far sweeter "in-hand")
well not as colourful as these beautiful quarters, but a nice addition to my set of 50's, a 1904 Fifty Cent, mintage of 60,000.
