I have a relative who is a Corrections Officer here in Calif. and I can assure you that cell phones are forbidden for inmates.
Living a few miles from Folsom, we regularly get news stories regarding confiscated contraband - numerous phones and devices among other things. It's possible in some halfway house or minimum security center, but not in prison. I would be gravely concerned.
Well, someone involved in law enforcement told that to me. They may have been mistaken or were referring to something along the lines of a minimum security facility. Either way, I took it quite lightly and figured it was likely rubbish.
Who stupid to buy these things, but again if you can tell from a fake one to a real one then that is bad, and plus if it is in a PCGS holder that is also mess up
Sometimes I don't know why I bother, but just to clarify, latter part of my earlier post was in regards to this.... With the addition of "we", you included yourself, and is why I said "how someone could travel with their father when he (the father) was a "young lad" is beyond me".
