1 2009P coin talk error 2.jpg Using your photo, here are three spots to look at, along the top of the left shoulder and down along the arm for chips and crack. At the log split, a small die crack heading south and under the seat of Lincolns pants you may find a blank space with part of the log design missing, this one is an abraded die error, also referred to as "Floating Abe".

I would name this 'double skeleton flower in log.'

Hey... you said it, not me. ;)

If you look hard enough, you can find something different, off, or odd on every other coin you look at. A little chip here or crack there may be neat to find, I suppose, but if interested in finding accepted genuine varieties, you're better off skipping such things and instead focus on possibilities.

Also, and just as a friendly "so you know", when you respond to one person, say to let them know new photos have been posted, we all get the notification. :)

from tiny seeds the great oak grows. Soak it in water and the flower will blossom into a new error.
