Ok there is a over priced dealer that thinks there selling at wholesale, they severely over price even the common error coins name that wholesaler
You do realize that just because someone calls themselves a "wholesaler" this doesn't make it true, right? The same goes for high, real or collector-imagined, pricing.... they know well what they're doing and don't really "think" their prices are, in fact, "wholesale". It is an old, outdated, and rather poor marketing strategy. That said, I could guess a few times a day for the remainder of my life and still not come up with everyone fitting the bill, even if I was aware of them all. Might want to narrow it down just a tad.
Same theory as the "Outlet Mall" bargains. They're not bargains and a lot of times they actually place inferior merchandise to their premium store locations to give the illusion of getting a good deal.
Joining the bird in the weeds... Every time I see the OP's name I think of a casserole and get hungry.
One dealer comes to mind immediately.... Mike mezack, he claims to sell more mint sets (other than the mint) than any other dealer on the planet. He even let's you in on his little secret, you can bust the mint set open and make like 2k off of the individual coins, but wait there's more- he will even include a mega rare SMS set for free with purchase ( just pay $9.95 s+h )
Idk how many times I've left the TV on and woke up to his voice @ 4:30 am, then couldn't go back to sleep 'cause I got such a kick out of his sales pitch. The national catalog has this 1970d Kennedy listed for $75 blah blah blah.......
If I wake up at 4:30 I'm happy to have slept in. 5:30 and I'm pretty sure someone drugged me or I'm getting sick
