This is another lincoln penny that shows only the date 200 instead of 2003. I have already posted the 2004 lincoln penny without the 4. This is not that the same penny fyi. Is this a true error?

If we put ours together we might have something in a hundred years. On the other hand, maybe not.

Yesterday was a 2004. Today is the 2003. Stay tuned, tomorrow will be the 2002 version. :)

Like the 2004, this coin falls into the category, "Everything you wanted to forget about errors but were afraid to ask."

Why? Is it that people are afraid to ask? Who cares if you post up a coin thats not what they think it is? Thought school taught everyone that no question is a dumb question cause if you dont know it cant be a dumb question. Lol

I didn't say anything about being a dumb question. You're right! There are no dumb questions, only dumb answers.

I was really commenting about the grease-filled die in a joking way because we get this same question posted just about every week, and I've been here for 6 years. If I recall correctly, we even had one that was called a "James Bond" coin because it was 007. It might have been another forum. I'm not 100% sure.

Some people like to collect counterfeit coins for the purpose of documentation.

    Me? No!
