    Hot, but poorly minted. The Reverse is weak and the Obverse is sloppy with numbers reaching or into the rim, like the L, and the rim is thin at 4 o'clock.

    1965 is a very tough date to find in nice shape in circulation. Not too many were saved back then and very few people collect coins made after 1964. Most of the relatively small mintage went into circulation and are worn now days.
