    I found this nice dime in the doggie park about a hour ago

    I live in Fort Lee, New Jersey I live in a complex with 26 buildings 45 apartments in each building there is a park there where people walk their dogs, my nephew has a small dog she likes to run around over there.

    Some of those coins may have been cleaned by a dog's digestive system...

    Reason I said that is in one of the intermitable discussions on coin cleaning someone suggested feeding dirty coins to your dog and letting his digestive system clean them (humorously...I think).

    Sounds like a good place to metal detect - who knows what them dogs have swallowed! But probably may turn out to be a crappy place :)

    Can't be any worse than a guy I heard about last night on BBC who swallowed a 6 penny nail 30 years ago and just coughed it up.

    I heard a story some where where this guy swallowed a couple hundred coins as a bet at a bar......I think he actually died too.... let me see if I can find that story....where to look...hmmmm.....
