cyns 3-1-160001.jpg The edges look pushed in and it's got a weird lip on the inside. Thi9s is my first post and attempt at attching stuff, and I hope I get some useful feedback. Hi everyone!

I think it might be a planchet error with a die smudge error. Not really sure-----hope to hear from you all and educate me :)

Hi Cynde, Welcome to cointalk. I'll tell you what I have learned so far. What you have is a case of post mint damage with verdigris and some environmental damage. There is no such thing as a die smudge error on coins. Keep looking and dont be afraid to ask questions :D

Your Cent was damaged due to hits and someone hammering it causing dents.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Try this experiment: put a couple brand new pennies in your driveway. Run over them with your car a couple of times. Leave them out there for a week or two. Run over them again.

    Then go get them.

I bet they'll look pretty close to the things you've posted. When we say "parking lot coins", we aren't joking.
